Contains notes by Turnour of learning exercises which he attended as an utter barrister of the Middle Temple. It includes: (1) moots in the inns of chancery, 1614-1624; (2) 'My first case that I saate at after I was called to the barre', (1613/14); (3) Turnour's 'primer [and second] assignment', 1614, and other moots probably in the Middle Temple; (4) detailed notes of cases at Turnour's reading in New Inn, 1623-24, with lists of those who attended; (5) cases from the Middle Temple readings of Charles Danvers (Autumn 1623) and Henry Clerke (Lent 1629).
